Our primary activity at the Blinn College SBDC is meeting with entrepreneurs who are either planning or have started a small business. As a member of the UH SBDC Network, we receive funding through the U.S. SBA, and both funding and physical support from Blinn College. Because of this, we are able to provide our consulting services at no cost to our clients.
Workshops & Seminars
The SBDC’s affordable workshops and seminars cover business topics including marketing, finance, management, computers, taxes and executive skills enhancement. Our instructors share their real-world experience with you in classrooms and computer labs. Our training seminars are designed to help broaden your business knowledge and improve your skills, whether you are new to business ownership or a seasoned entrepreneur. Scheduled workshops & seminars are posted on our calendar.
We can assist you in preparing to sell your products and services to federal, state and local government agencies; pursuing international markets; obtaining free technical engineering assistance; or receiving discounted professional services through our specialty programs.
Whether you are starting, operating, or growing a business in the Brenham area, our Network's research librarian can help you find the information you need to be successful.
